I believe that medicine can do better than just treat symptoms, which is why my practice is focused on the whole human — working from the inside out to support wellness. I believe that a treatment plan should be as unique as the individual for which it’s made, which is why I’ve departed from the mainstream “one-treatment-fits-all” approach and instead provide “Whole Human Care”.

Background & Experience
Dr. Alexa is a licensed physician in Idaho and Washington where she has passed comprehensive licensing exams conducted by each state’s medical licensing board.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Nebraska and her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University (NMD).
She was selected for a competitive CNME-accredited primary and specialty care residency which she completed in Seattle, while simultaneously teaching as Adjunct Clinical Supervisor and Associate Professor at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health.
Dr. Alexa continued her medical education by studying at the Institute of Functional Medicine where she was awarded the title of “Certified Practitioner” (IFMCP).
She is the sitting President of the Idaho Chapter of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians (IDAANP) which is working to expand access to naturopathic health care to the citizens of Idaho.
At her clinic, Dr. Alexa applies her education in clinical nutrition to further the impact of her immune-support protocols and has treated hundreds of conditions and thousands of patients in both primary and specialty care settings.
She utilizes functional medicine treatments and testing, as well as harnesses IV therapy treatments. She is passionate about her patients and advocates for how complementary and alternative medicine can support anyone in any walk of life.
